Scarlett to play Mary, Queen of Scots

Scarlett Johansson will play Mary, Queen of Scots in an upcoming historical epic. Her new role was announced yesterday at Cannes by the film's production company. Mary ruled Scotland from 1542 to 1567 and was famously beheaded at the age of 44 when she set her sights on the throne of England.
